The stage start of the Giro d’Italia from Cassano d’Adda is a special occasion to bring together sport, community, and inclusion.
Welcoming the pink race are also two important projects dedicated to people with disabilities: Cascina San Bartolomeo in Cassano d’Adda and Casa Eden in Vaprio d’Adda, along the route crossed by the Giro.
Promoted by Fondazione BFZ, Cooperativa Punto d’Incontro, and Anffas Martesana, the two projects convey a simple yet powerful message:
two places for disability support, one shared vision of inclusion, independence, and the future.
On the day Cassano d’Adda welcomes the Giro as a stage-start town, we also wish to remember and celebrate Gianni Motta, fellow citizen and winner of the 1966 Giro d’Italia, marking together the 60th anniversary of his victory in the pink race.
